Today i'm going to be doing the highly awaited CANDY YUM YUM post!!
I've been waiting to do this post only because i wanted to be able to find more dupes for you guys so you'd have more options.
In this post i will be telling you where you can find these products, around how much they are, the finish, and my opinions on them. I've also included some great lip liners to use with any of these lipsticks. :)
If i do find more, i'll be sure to post them. If you know of any that weren't mentioned let me know so i can add them on!!
Lets start off with Candy Yum Yum itself!
Price: anywhere from $15 [it may be hard to find this for $15] to $35 (from what i've seen)
Finish: Matte but not a dry feeling
Lasting power: Stays on for a long time
Where can you find it: Select Mac counters/stores, eBay, Nordstroms, or a CCO
My opinions: the famous bright, bold, hot pink lipstick! it's highly raved about, and highly worth the splurge. If you have the confidence to wear a bright lip, i'd suggest push your limits & go outside of the box and try out this lip.
Maybelline Color Sensational Vivid- Pink Pop
Price: $5-$8 (check for cupons!!)
Finish: at first iit has a little natural sheen to it, but it will wear off and become matte. (If you don't want to wait for the sheen to wear off by it's self just blot it. ). With the sheen to it, you get a very moisturizing feel.
Lasting power: a long itme
Where can you find it: Drugstores, & ebay/amazon
My opinions: I would say this is my favorite dupe out of all the ones i'll be showing you. I feel that it's beautiful with the natural sheen, or without it. (Keep in mind, i really only like matte lips). If you're not willing to splurge on a $15- $35 lipstick, i'd highly suggest going for this one.
Maybelline's Fuchsia Flash

Price: $5-$9 (typically there's cupons out for maybelline)
Finish: Similar to the Pink Pop, this has a natural sheen to it. Because of the sheen you get a moisturizing feel to it.
Lasting power: a long time
Where can you find it: drug stores, eBay/Amazon
My opinions: This is almost identical to the Pink Pop lipstick. The only difference to me is this one has slightly more sheen, but barely noticeable. Either one would be a perfect dupe.
Lime Crime Lipstick-Countessa Fluorescent

Price: $16 (I know this isn't any better then the MAC price, BUT if you wanted a high end dupe for it & if you couldnt find candy yum yum itself for $15 [which will be hard] this one is good)
Finish: natural gloss
Lasting power: lasts a long time
Where can you find it: Limecrime's website , some urban outfitters, amazon/eBay
My opinions: For a highend dupe i think this is great. Not only do you get limecrimes cute packaging, but you do get more product.
Milani-Rose Hip

Price: $4-$6 (Cheapest dupe) Check for cupons!! (mine was actually $3.27 with a coupon i had)
Finish: a little more then a natural gloss, i would have to call this a glossy finish (but again, the gloss can be blotted off.)
Lasting power: Nothing special, just like a typical lipstick that stays on for a few hours.
Where can you find it: drugstores, walmart, target, & kmart.
My opinions: I think for the price of this lipstick, you're getting really close to candy yum yum. so you cant really complain for the price (mine was actually $3.27 with a coupon i had)
Jesse's Girl Lip Liner - Pucker Up
Price: $1.99 (There's always coupons as well!)
Finish: matte (if you wanted you could just wear this alone and get a good candy yum yum look.
Lasting power: Long lasting, & if you pare it with a lipstick it lasts even longer.
Where you can find this: i ordered mine here off of their website, but you can check out drugstores as well.
My opinions: For the price, you can't complain. If you wanted to wear this alone, it won't be JUST like candy yum yum but it's close. For me personally i pare it under one of the above lipsticks and it looks identical and lasts longer!!
